Sherazade’s music is as vibrant, sensual and multi-cultural as her roots that have coloured her musical identity. Her songs set to Russian and Oriental music, classical and traditional, are lyrical with touches of soul and blues. She sings in Russian, Arabic, French, English, Armenian and Turkish. Bold and sincere, the music resonates with universal appeal that invites one to travel the world. Rebellious, profound, feminine, intimate, there is freshness, panache and surprising fragility in her work. When Sherazade sings she brings us to the threshold of the world, beyond borders, references and generalisations.
LavionRose is a band of five Frenchmen who have travelled the world. With their pop rock music crossed with international influences, Sherazade proposes new sound textures from urban electric to mystic oriental. Their song titles Armenia, Palmita, Ocian, Louliya, Bel Etranger seem to be interwoven with cheeky and seductive modern yet exotic destinations.
