The Alliance française du Bengale is happy to announce the participation of Reza Deghati, renowned Paris-based photographer, in the AKLF festival.
Come to The Park on Friday 16 January to celebrate the 125 years of the iconic National Geographic magazine withTaschen, international publishers of art, design & photography books. Reza Deghati will present his award winning photograph for National Geographic & will be in conversation with Neha Dara, Deputy Editor, National Geographic Traveller India. Moderated by Marc Parent, TASCHEN.
Reza Deghati is a famous photojournalist, primarily for National Geographic. For the past 30 years he has travelled across the world bearing witness to moments of war and peace. Reza’s work has been exhibited all over the world: Crossed Destinies, War + Peace, One World One Tribe, Hope, Windows of the Soul and Soul of Coffee are some of his most notable exhibitions. He lives in Paris and is the author of 27 books. A Fellow of the National Geographic Society and Senior Fellow of the Ashoka Foundation, he has been awarded numerous prizes including the World Press Photo Award and the Infinity Award.
