Awarded with multiple international prizes, Trio Zadig is known to captivate its audiences with its virtuosity, elegance and irresistible enthusiasm. The trio members Boris Borgolotto, Marc Girard Garcia and Ian Barber released their first album “Something in Between” as homage to their French and American roots, in collaboration with Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Benjamin Attahir and Bruno Fontaine. The name comes from Voltaire’s eponymous character, Zadig (from the Hebrew for the ‘just’ and the Arabic for the ‘truthful’)

Much like the music that the Trio performs, the story of Zadig is fantastically entertaining, while touching upon universal and uncompromising truths about the nature of reality. The Zadig Trio has performed all over the world, from the USA to Taiwan, as well as in prestigious halls like the BOZAR, Shanghai City Theater, Paris’ Philharmonic and the Salle Cortot.

Trio performed in India with the network of Alliance française in October 2019 and the memories from their performance at the Victoria Memorial is still afresh in the hearts of Calcuttans. At this instant, they are coming back to initiate a dialogue ‘virtually’ with their followers. The talk will touch the lives of people through music as they share their experiences from across the globe, music in times of crises, creating music in the virtual world and much more. People will get an exclusive opportunity to ask questions and reflect on the notions.
