Time: 6:30 pm onwards
Venue: Alliance française du Bengale

The presence of Tagore takes us to the India of the twentieth century, at the dawn of its independence, to discover the man of letters and arts.
Beyond the peaks of Rabindranath Tagore’s poetry, Joëlle Libois invites us to take a curious and attentive look at lesser-known aspects of his work. She makes the reader aware of his pedagogy of awakening to the world, his pragmatic demand for social justice, and a conception of ecology marked by the majesty of wonder.
The session will be chaired by the Director of School of Social Work | HES-SO, Geneva- Joëlle Libois, Professors of Visva Bharati University, Prasanta Kumar Ghosh, and Kumkum Bhattacharya.
