Book Presentation: Poor Economics for Kids by Esther Duflo & Cheyenne Olivier

Nobel laureate Esther Duflo and illustrator Cheyenne Olivier will be at Alliance Française du Bengale, Kolkata for an insightful discussion and presentation of their recently launched book series titled Poor Economics for Kids. The session will be moderated by Dr. Abhijit Chowdhury. The series sheds light on critical themes of poverty from a child’s perspective.

In addition to initiating important dialogues on inequality, with active participation from school students in Kolkata, AFD – Agence Française de Développement and the French Institute in India, in association with Alliance Française du Bengale, will feature an exhibition followed by a talk session with stakeholders, researchers, and NGO experts.
