Victoria Memorial Hall and Alliance française du Bengale have the pleasure to present a *Piano recital: Chopin and the French Impressionists* by the celebrated pianist, Alessandro Commellato in Kolkata on 12 December 2022, from 6.30 pm onwards at the Victoria Memorial Hall.
A pupil of Carlo Vidusso, Piernarciso Masi, Sergio Fiorentino, and Evgeny Malinin, Alessandro Commellato studied at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan.
He has performed in several festivals all over the world from Innsbruck to Bremen, from Prague Philarmonic to New York Americas Society including in the world premiere of “Cherì”(Roland Petit) at the Teatro Alka Scalia, in “Autour de Chopin” at National Theatre in Warsaw, in Adriano Guarnieri’s “Medea” at Teatro La Fenice in Venice.

Commellato will be accompanied by musicians from Abraham Mazumder Academy of Music, on violin Anirban Mazumdar & Dibyokamal Mitra, on Violoncello: Arushi Chanda and Contrabass: Kanishka Roy Choudhury.
