day 2 : How to shoot a film
day 3 : Production/Film shoot
day 4 : Editing in FCP
day 5 : Marketing and publicity
ABOUT TINNI BHATTACHARYA : I have been exposed to Worldwide Advertising from a very tender age. I worked for McCann Erickson and J. Walter Thomson. As a film scholar, I have contributed articles in some of the leading newspapers of the country. Also made innumerable documentaries for ETV from script to screen. 2013 I made a short film named ‘Indispensables’, which was shown for Kolkata International Film Festival, and Delhi International Film Festival. Now I am working on my next script and teaching Film and Advertising as freelance lecturer in various institutes. Along with this I am engaged in conducting workshops in places like Bangalore, Kolkata and Paris.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: I believe we are in an era, where we need to speak visually. With the process of digital filmmaking, we can demystify the art of filmmaking for everyone. In this workshop, we will teach how to master the craft of film production and visual storytelling. The students will capture those little moments of their life. Write about them, shoot them, direct them, and edit them…finally they will be creating their own film.
