Avijit Ghosh came to Paris from the Indian state of West Bengal, which is renowned for its rich and unique heritage in literature, music, dance, as well as cinema, fine arts, cuisine, and even weaving. He has been living in Paris for 14 years. This young artist carries within himself a wonderful heritage, with which he mixes Western themes in his works. This fusion of culture, where mythology and art history meet, interact, and respond to each other, is intricately presented in his paintings. For ten years, Avijit has been sharing his own culture in France through artistic creation and works to develop a relationship of human love between France and India.
The Embassy of India in Paris, UNESCO Paris, several town halls in Paris of the French Government, Cité Universitaire Paris, Cannes Film Festival France, MGC, Cabaret Sauvage, Paris night market, and many other events always patronise him to explore his creations through several exhibitions, workshops, and screenings of his films and documentaries.
