EU CONFERENCE : HOOGHLY HERITAGE HUB at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata
Just north of Kolkata, along the Hooghly River, Indian city life blends with the unique built heritage
of former European settlements.
The Hooghly Heritage Hub is a program organised by EUNIC (European National Institutes of Culture) in India on creating awareness on cultural heritage and Indo-European histories in the area. The project has a strong focus on the contemporary aspects of cultural heritage. It is also an initiative to create awareness on cultural heritage and the Indo-European histories along the river Hooghly, West Bengal.
Under the umbrella of the ‘Hooghly Heritage Hub Project’  Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata, Alliance Française du Bengal, with Institut français en Inde, British Council, Embassy of The Kingdom of Netherlands, the Danish Cultural Institute
and Camões – Centro Cultural Português (Portugal)
