From aspiring painter to pioneering digital artist, Shankar S. bridges tradition with innovation. His journey from museum photographer to creator of stunning photomontages explores the magic of New Media, where composite visuals craft stories beyond individual frames.
This exhibition showcases Shankar S’s recent artwork series, Juxt-a-scapes, a collection of limited-edition digital prints signed by the artist. Utilizing the revolutionary advancements of the digital medium, the artist has crafted a new genre of photomontages printed on archival canvas and paper. By juxtaposing photographic images, Shankar S creates holistic narratives that transcend the sum of their parts, offering a unique visual storytelling experience.
