The Terra Guitar Quartet are Xavier Jara (2016 Winner: USA), Jihyung Park (South Korea), Pedro Rocha (Brazil) and Madhavan Somanathan (India). They are based in Paris, France where they met as colleagues in the class of guitar maestro Judicael Perroy, became friends and were inspired to begin this musical collaboration a couple of years ago. Coming from different cultural and musical backgrounds, this is a unique quartet with an explosive, cohesive style.

The Terra Guitar Quartet is on a tour of India in March and April 2017. We have invited them to Kolkata to perform at the Alliance Francaise on 1 April, 7.30pm and teach classical guitar students at the Calcutta School of Music on 2 April.
