Join us for a special session with Mr. Bertrand Badiou, teacher-researcher and director of the Paul Celan Research Unit at the École Normale Supérieure, Paris. The evening will be dedicated to honour Paul Celan, a poet whose work reflects on memory, history, and language. He remains one of the most significant voices of post-war literature, presented by Alliance Française du Bengale.

Bertrand Badiou has edited unpublished poems and letters by the poet in Germany (Suhrkamp Verlag, Berlin) and in France (Éditions du Seuil, Gallimard, Paris). As a translator of Paul Celan’s letters and poems, he also serves as the custodian of his literary estate.
