The panelists will include Dr Rudrangshu Mukherjee, Dr Julie Banerjee, and Professors Supriya and Sukanta Chaudhuri. The Consul Generals of France and the US will speak, respectively, on Paris and New York. Anjita Roychowdhury will speak on Kolkata and there will be speakers on London and Berlin, as well.

By way of background, PUBLIC (People United for Better Living in Calcutta), turned 25 this year. One of our activities to mark this anniversary was a forecasting exercise, looking twenty-five years ahead at Calcutta in 2040.
