Where is our homeland? What is a homeland, actually? In this age of global relocation and migration, does the word homeland and its relevance really matters? Anindya Chatterjee’s latest movie, La Patrie – Homeland addresses this issue and more through the lives of a motley young group of expatriates.
Starring Parambtata Chatterjee and other international actors, this multilingual film released on the OTT platform Netflix in May this year.
Alliance française du Bengale brings to you a chat show with the principle cast and crew of the film since the french association of Kolkata and India played an integral role in planting the film.
The chat show will be moderated by Mr. Sekhar Das, a movie director, scriptwriter, actor, and producer. Sekhar Das with three award-winning feature films to his credit is one of the leading filmmakers of Bengal. Jogajog (Relationships) based on Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore’s classic novel has been his 11th feature film, of which four features were made for television release and others for theatre release. He also made over 20 short films for Television.
