A fair chance for every child
A round table discussion- Jointly hosted by Alliance Française & UNICEF
The Campaign:
All children deserve the chance to be happy and healthy, explore their world safely, and reach their full potential. Yet the rights of millions of children are blocked by deprivation and discrimination. To promote the universal rights of children to a fair start to life, UNICEF has initiated the #FAIRSTART campaign.
This campaign aims to highlight the issues which often lead to deprivation and discrimination faced by children, based on caste, creed, religion, skin color etc. UNICEF is engaging with various partners and key personalities from all walks of life to join in this campaign to create a larger dialogue across countries.
The Event:
The round table discussion, hosted by Alliance Francaise and UNICEF, aims to bring together key personalities from different walks of life- film, music, dance, art, academics, civil society to talk about the work they are doing to address discrimination against children.
The event will also include a media engagement plan so that a noise can be created through our media network around the issues and also highlight the good work done by our key guests.
