Rhythmosaic presents its contemporary dance performance : CHAPTER (Choreography: Arun Charles Ram)
The event will take place at the Alliance française du Bengale, Park Mansions on 26 February 2016 at 6:30 pm, to be followed by a discussion and dialogue on the process.
Arun Charles Ram is a contemporary dancer of the Kolkata based Rhythmosaic Dance Company directed by Dr. Mitul Sengupta and Ronnie Shambik Ghose.
Rhythmosaic is not only an institute which imparts training in Dance or Movement Arts. It is an institute which tries to inculcate, a method of ‘Thinking Approach’ when it comes to address expressional and experimental issues, specifically through Movement Art. The school, which ensures high quality training to the students in the field of ‘Technique Oriented’ performing arts, provides them with an intensive training in WESTERN DANCE FORMS, such as :
a. Classical Ballet
b. Classical Jazz Dance
c. Contemporary Dance
d. Tap Dance.
At the same time, the institution conducts as well rigorous training in INDIAN CLASSICAL DANCE, KATHAK.
It also offers a ONE YEAR CERTIFICATE, in CONTEMPORARY DANCE/ MOVEMENT ART, affiliated with OFFJAZZ – Centre de formation en danse – Nice, France.
Rhythmosaic School and Dance Institute is also affiliated with INDIAN COUNCIL FOR CULTURAL RELATIONS (ICCR) for teaching FOREIGN NATIONALS, under the ICCR SCHOLARSHIP SCEHEME for Foreign Nationals in INDIA.
