From September 2012 to May 2013, France flares up on the draft ”Mariage pour Tous” law. During these nine months of legislative gestation, the sociologist Irène Théry tells her son the stakes of the debate. From these stories come of a cinema of teddy bears, toys and bits of cardboard. This is an intimate portrait and national drama. This film makes us rediscover what we all thought to know perfectly: the family.
