These workshops are organized in order to help the students and others for their arrival and settlement in France. They will be organized during 3 weekends, with a 2 hour workshop each Saturday and Sunday, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Each weekend will focus on a specific topic. The topics will be progressive:
The workshops of the first week end will focus on the basics needed at your arrival in France : your arrival at the airport in France, specifications regarding French public transports, how to ask someone for an information, travel advice around France and Europe.
The workshops of the second week end will focus on your settlement and daily life and needs in France: how to find a place to live, what are the main french services (medical services, administrations). It will also be an occasion to give a list of useful tips for your daily life in France.
The workshops will end on the third weekend, proposing different activities that aim to help discover the French cultural life : media, cultural events and places to visit +other themes that can be prepared following student’s requests.
The different sessions will be moderated by Marie Halna from Sciences Po, Paris and Abhilasha Sinha, currently pursuing her studies in Grenoble, France.
