You will be glad to know that “Awesome Angkor”, a never-before multi-media presentation on “Angkor Wat” the largest temple complex in the world and monumental evidence of Indian cultural influence in long-ago-and-far-away Cambodia is being organised, in collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations, to be held at ICCR’sRabindranath Tagore Center, Kolkata, from 31st January to 7th February 2014.

The event
The presentation, comprising of a pictorial exhibition along with a documentary, has been put together after adequate research on the subject and, thereafter, visits to Cambodia to interact with people and shoot extensively for the said film.

France, we all know, has done “monumental” work in retrieving and restoring “Angkor Wat” and other heritage sites in erstwhile French Indo-China.
