World Music Day

 The World Music Day (Fête de la Musique) is coming up on June 21st & we’ll be celebrating this day at the Alliance Francaise du Bengale, Park Street.  This year we are going to celebrate the ‘Unknown Musician’. In order to make this year’s festival more participative and inclusive, we request applications from volunteers for the following:

• Musicians  : This year we’re going to focus on Solos. We are requesting singer – songwriters , to apply. Please note that we are only looking at original music (no covers) in any language. To apply please send in your name, phone number and songs name (2 songs).
• Art & sound Installation : Volunteer artists interested in art & sound installation, centered around the theme of music please apply.
• Photographers/ Video Artists : We are planning a photo exhibition on music. So  if you’ve photographs or video art , related to theme of music, which you would like to exhibit, kindly apply.
• Videographers/Editors : We are looking to document the festival and instantly edit the output for display. So if you would be interested  please do apply.

This year’s festival is been supported by AMEC ( Academy of Music Excellence), Littlei, Culture Monks & many other volunteers.
