In the year 2018 world’s only global township Auroville is celebrating its golden jubilee. Auroville is the universal township- a vision of Mirra Alfasa; the exceptional spiritual personality from France who got coroneted as the Divine Mother in the heart of million Indians.
Auroville is the representation of the dream of Sri Aurobindo
implemented by his spiritual collaborator The Mother. This exceptional township is the place
of habitation for the people from one twenty-four nations of five continents.
On 12th May Alliance française du Bengale will celebrate Golden Jubilee of this global
township in association with Sri Aurobindo Bhavan Kolkata.
Three distinguished guest lecturers- Prof. Supriyo Bhatthacharya, Sri Goutam Banarjee and Sri Subhasish Kanjilal-will discuss different untold stories of this city along with the life of its creator Mirra
Alfasa-The Mother. It will be one hour long informal discussion session in a lively
atmosphere. Public interaction will also be part of the whole presentation.
This event will be hosted in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Damien Syed, Honorable Consul General of France in Kolkata
