Alliance Française du Bengale begins its 2019 league of events with an exhibition and the screening of three short films by a French artist-fimmaker, Marie-France Annasse.
The filming of Marie-France’s ‘Prologue’, ‘La Journée d’un Dieu’ and ‘Indian Blue Kiss’ took place in Paris, Varanasi and Pondicherry connecting the two countries, France and India.
Influenced by the Indian mythological character of Krishna, these short films narrate the  story of exile, roots, love and the beauty of what constitutes us all with our origins, beliefs and those of our ancestors.
All the sets and characters, presented in the films will be on display at the exhibition in our premises from January 9-16, 2019.
