Like every year, the Kolkata International Women Club (KIWC) organizes a gala ball cum dinner the profits of which are meant for benefiting several local NGOs.
Indeed, the principal objective of the KIWC is to raise funds for several small local NGOs that attend to the needs of underprivileged women and children in Kolkata. Last June, the KIWC gave one lakh of Rupees to theAlliance française de Katmandu to buy canvas tents to help earthquake victims of Nepal.
This year, the ball will be held on Saturday 12 September 2015, at the Hyatt Regency ballroom. Prices are set at INR 4000 per person, and this price is inclusive of aperitifs, a four-course dinner, all drinks including imported wine and cocktails created by a guest cocktail mixer flying in from Delhi for the occasion, a grand draw with prizes including flights and stays in 5-star hotels in
India and abroad, live music along with a DJ, and a late license. Tables for 10 may be booked, as well as individual bookings. The ball is open to anyone in the city, and all profits will go to the local charities that the KIWC recognises and supports.
