****

French studies including Francophone studies cover a wide range of subjects including language and linguistics, literature, translation, history, culture studies, philosophy, films, socio-political thought, post-colonial studies and many more. The inclusive nature of this discipline is possible due to the immense contribution that France has made in the world of innovative thought, long before the landmark in human history known as the French Revolution.

This journal which will be officially launched on  International Francophonie Day, celebrated every 20th of March, aims to publish articles by contributors engaged in different branches of French Studies for interested readers. In this first issue, a mosaic of French and Francophonic thought, society and literature is presented.
