blue3 (1)Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) is a father figure in French Modernism in the field of Painting. He took Post-Impressionism movement to it’s highest pick. Through his work the whole world gradually enjoyed mass and volume in paint layers. His special treatment with Blue colour had established a new evolution of aesthetics. There was another great man, Rainer Maria Rilke, the great German poet who shared his lyrics .with Cezanne and their interaction opened up a new era of Blue. Rilke lived in the late 1800 and early 1900s and the letters on Cezanne, devoted largely to response to his viewing of Cezanne’s work at the Salon d’automne in Paris in 1907, comprise a strange meandering essay that reflects Rilke’s own unique brand of spiritual aesthetics refracted through a prism of meditations on Paris and the painting process. This presentation deals with the discovery of Blue and it’s ever lusting effect on us.
